In our program, students learn the versatility of an English degree while learning from award-winning teachers and scholars. Our programs help learners think critically and creatively while preparing for the workforce.

Our undergraduate program prepares students to specialize in areas such as Creative Writing, Digital Narrative, Literature, and Preprofessional Writing, while our graduate programs offer a focus on Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, English Studies, or Creative Writing at the Master’s level. Our PhD program is a five year program that is developed between the student and a faculty advisor. Our current students benefit from a wide array of student organizations and writing clubs that help prepare for life after graduation.
